Overview

Higher Temperature, Longer Service Life

Silicon metal granule and powder are added to refractory materials and refractory ceramics to improve their high-temperature oxidation resistance. At service temperature, silicon helps form protective phases that slow oxidation and extend the working life of the refractory.
